Ehe, looks like I haven’t updated anything on this blog for awhile..for a long while actually…for almost like two months. Maybe it’s because I actually think that updating blogs are a pain…sometimes. But I guess I feel update-y right now…and I changed the layout and the banner. It’s so blue and Reina-y!!! Eh? Is it true love with this new layout or what?! Although I think the bottom of it looks a bit messy…but OH WELL! I DON’T CARE THAT MUCH! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

But anyway, I went to Chinatown yesterday. I got A LOT of food at the Japanese grocery store, Uwajimaya. But I didn’t get any bubble tea like I usually do when I go to Uwajimaya…usually the flavor of my bubble tea is either strawberry, apple or mango. But all of those flavor pwns! I also went to the mall and went to the body shop to get more toner and cleanser. Seriously, that stuff works really well with my skin. And there was a sale there so I got two and one thing free from the face lotion section and blah. I don’t like shopping that much, but everyone should love a good bargain, right? I got this tree tea-oil thing that conceals your skin and whatnot…also I got this other illuminating pink face cream thing, which is pretty much what I got at the body shop (aside from toner and facial cleanser).

Bath and Body Works is a great place too, there’s always cheap stuff there that I like to get, haha. There always seems to be some sort of deal there…then again, there always seems to be some sort of deal for every store in the effing mall. Abercrombie is expensive, American Eagle smells funny (and is also sort of expensive), but FOREVER 21 PWNS FOREVER! It has cheaper prices and the clothes are absolutely…pawesome (haha, I’ve been using that word a lot…but it reminds me of an oppusum…but opposums are cute, so I have no need to worry ^_^).

Jamba Juice employees are really annoying, has anyone noticed that besides me? When I was standing in line for a juice, every time someone tipped, one of the people at the cashiers would go, “TIP! TIP! HOORAY!” It was sort of amusing at first, then it was hilarious, then I got tired of hearing it because they were saying it like 23832300923492343.25 times!

It’s finally Christmas! And I’m listening to the song, “Christmas in the Northwest” by Brenda White a lot…my sister hates that song and she thinks it’s really cheesy, heh. But oh well, I first heard it off of 106.9, and I love it…I always love sappy-esque songs ^_^

106.9 is a radio station, and all their songs they usually play are soft rock, and lovey dovey, cheesy and sappy songs, haha…but I love that radio station a lot, *hugs*

I’m really into the whole sappy love song thingy. I even like oldies…you know, the songs from Grease and that one song…what was it? Oh yeah, “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls, hehe. I don’t necessarily like that song a lot, I think it’s just amusing to listen to since the lyrics are sooo weird. ^O)

Like, at one point of the song it goes, “Slam your body down and wind it all around! Slam your body down and zig-a-zig ahhh” Hmm? Odd-esque? But it makes me laugh every time, I actually shout the “zig-a-zig” part every time they come to it, tehee.

There is never a time when I don’t shout it.

Anyway, back to Christmas right, I mean, it is the title, so it must have some sort of sacred meaning to what this post contains…anyway, so yeah it’s Christmas. But I already went to a Christmas party the day before, so now I have nothing to do on Christmas day…and I already went to Church. But you know how I feel about church (If you don’t, check my early blog postings, hehe)…it’s boring and the choir still needs improvement. >_<

But at least the directions all around the church were nice, hehe.

There was this one big paper-like thing hanging off of the ceiling, and people had cut holes and stuff in it to create a picture in it (with the cuts…hmm, obviously I’m not making sense here? xD). It looked really pretty though, a lot of effort and time must have been put into it, and it turned out just beautifully ^___^

I got presents, but it’s mostly money, hehe, I sort of want a Nintendo Wii though, buttt I got a lot of Target gift cards, so maybe this is a sign for me to buy it myself…I tried out the Wii, it’s pretty cool, especially the boxing game, and it really does tire you at the end of each round, that’s what makes it even more realistic-like. And it’s fun, because you can do real punching motions with your hands on the remote and the person you’re playing imitates what you’re doing, hehe, fun fun.

It hasn’t snowed since the rain washed it all away either, so my Christmas isn’t really snowy, haha. It’s actually really sunny out today, but that’s still good, better sun than rain =)

So my sister gave me her book to read, Memoirs of a Geisha. It’s really thick and she treasures it a lot…and I mean, a lot. But she wants me to read it since she’s been raving about it all the time, hehe.

It definitely looks like a good read too, and especially if the book costs $25.00 (US)! I know it’s a hard copy but still, you could buy like, five or six or even seven toothbrushes with 25 bucks, heh. But I have seen more expensive books. Like those huge children’s hardback books that are even larger than the toddler itself.

Tehee, I think I had one of those books when I was little, it was way taller than me and it talked about the world and stuff. I didn’t really read it a lot, nor did I even like it at all.

Anyway, back to Memoirs of a Geisha. I’m just starting to read the beginning and it’s really good so far. I read it religiously every night. The book even has Arthur Golden’s signature in it. How cool is that? *bounces*

Arthur Golden is my favorite author to get inspiration from. Have you seen the description and details in everything? It’s such an interesting way of writing.

Excerpt from beginning:

“I’ll be happy to try to describe him for you, but I can think of only one way to do it – by telling you about a certain tree that stood at the edge of the sea cliffs in Yoroido. This tree was as smooth as driftwood because of the wind, and when I was a little girl of four or five I found a man’s face on it one day. That is to say, I found a smooth patch as broad as a plate, with two sharp bumps at theoutside edge for cheekbones. They cast shadows suggesting eye sockets, and beneath the shadows rose a gentle bump of a nose. Bah, but I’m also tired this morning because I stayed up late last night playing WEBoggle. Hehe, it’s addicting once you play the first round because there are so many words that you can find ^_^

I think I played till like 3 or 4 in the morning, hehe…I saw one of my friends online playing WEBoggle, haha. I guess she’s addicted to it too, our Science Teacher introduced it to us a few days ago, and she said that she was addicted to playing it too. Fun fun. Then I got addicted…it’s sort of contagious, you know?

I went out and rented the two movies, “The Devil Wears Prada” and “John Tucker Must Die.” Hehe, I’ve seen both of them already, but I think they’re both equally good. Hmm…John Tucker sort of reminds me of Meangirls and is tween-ish though, but still. It’s a pretty good movie. Half of the reason why I even watched the movie was because Jesse Metcalfe was in it x]

I also really loved the Devil Wears Prada…the ending’s a little predictable but I still loved the movie overall. Anne Hathaway was so pretty, and the red lipstick she was wearing contrasted well with her light/pale skin. Meryl Streep did her part really well too, I mean, seriously…she’s always been a good actor. I loved her acting in this movie, she really knew how to be demanding and mean ^_^
Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend in the movie sort of looked weird (to me) in the movie…at some points he reminded me of a dirty-like person…because he looked dirty. And that became soooooo distracting. Gahlksadjff!

I also at these Milk Dud things (is that what they’re called? I think so…I’m too lazy to check the box right now). They taste really good and I think they really do taste milky. They’re hard on the outside, but when you bite into them, mikiness taste fills up your mouth
I bought them at the video renting place.

Not a lot of other things happened today, except this morning, at 12:00 AM Winter Vay-Cay started! YAY! Now I can stay up late and watch cheesy movies all the time ^___^
Fun fun.
I also don’t have to go to school a lot throughout the break (because it’s vacation!)…and that’s even better! I’m sort of procrastinating on my Humanities project though. I need to work on that sometime during the break…soon.

Okay, maybe not. I don’t usually have something to say in my blogs, unless it’s really important, like the National Day of China.

I heard from my friend, (And yup, she is Chinese) that today was the National Day of China…she was apparently excited since she said she was going to hug everyone at school the next day. Okay then. But she’s superbly nice. Like, as nice as an armadillo AND Santa Claus put together to form one really groovy Chinese girl (Never thought I’d say that sentence before).

And it’s not only the National Day of China…but also the day of October 1st. And my birthday is on October 1st. I got some money, and I get to go to Target today. I don’t know why I had the sudden urge to go to Target. I usually never get excited about going there. Have I been so bored that going to Target sounded like a treat? No…probably not. But anyway, I don’t know what’s at Target to make me so keyed up to go there. But I’m going, for some odd reason.

Yes, I know it is my birthday, and I might have better things to do besides blogging it up on the internet. But I didn’t decide to hold a b-day party this year…so that might explain the cause of my computer ways today.

I also just got back from church today, hmm…church is always quite a drag (Sorry). And it’s really boring. And do you know what happens when I’m bored? I get egotistic and start going on a spree of taking photos of myself with my cell phone. It’s true. -__-

Anyway, back to church…it’s boring, it really is, I don’t like listening to the choir that much. They aren’t that pleasant to listen to. They’re quite bad actually, they need lessons. Like serious lessons SOON…before I wear cloves of garlic in my ears when I hear them. And I don’t like the pews at church either, they’re too comfortable…and why is that bad? Because the pews are practically MAKING you fall asleep with its comfortableness. But I’ve never fell asleep in church before…although it might be soon…very soon.
